Puzzle Battle in progress
Practise tactics under time pressure
Puzzle Battle is a two-minute chess tactics challenge. Start a run, read the position, and find the move before moving on to the next challenge. Use short sessions to practise recognising opportunities while keeping an eye on the clock.
Speed is useful only when your calculation holds up. Look for checks, captures and threats, then consider the opponent’s reply. Between runs, take time to understand a missed idea rather than repeating the same guess.
For practice without the Battle clock, solve individual puzzles. To build a longer session, choose a puzzle workout.
