Build a plan you can use on the board

Choose a lesson deck to study a strategic idea. Read the position, select a plan and apply the idea in a fresh position. The lesson cards connect an explanation to an actual decision so you can practise recognising when an idea is useful.

Work through one idea at a time. Identify the pieces and pawns that make the plan possible, then consider how the opponent could stop it. Return to a lesson after playing a game and look for a similar decision in your own moves.
